Reviews
"Mere Beulles is fine dining. It has enjoyable American cuisine that is sure to tickle your fancy. My experience always includes a warm welcome, prompt service, and kindness from staff. I shared a picture of the brunch menu in case someone was interested. I will gladly remove it at the organization's request. Overall, I have had multiple enjoyable experiences here and highly recommend this place."
"Whenever I visit Mere Bulles I can expect excellent service and a comforting and clean environment with reasonably sized dining rooms to allow a more intimate dining experience. My hesitation in coming here more often is that the food has plenty of room for improvement which should not qualify it to ask the pricing it presently does (which is not listed on their site for suspicious reasons). Granted, the food is generally very good, but sometimes it isn't and combined with the pricing it stings too much. A great example of this fault is in their seasonal Charred Octopus plate. This was something around $45 for what amounted to only two small tentacles that were quite chewy. Having had this prepared from more seasoned cooks, that crisped grilled exterior ought to be the firmest piece, with the core being tender and soft to chew. The flavor was fine, but this does not command the price. Nor does the rest of the plate which at first glance I thought it may be large scallops, but instead is just browned potato slices and some onion. This is a seasonal menu dish and it should be something the restaurant is proud of, but it was just a disappointment. Other entrees I have had were done very well, often excellent, and the only complaint I have across almost all of them is that pricing has crept up quite a lot recently, and the portion sizes are incredibly varying by dish, as if presentation on plate dictates portion first and foremost. One of their best dishes, the braised short rib, rapidly shot in price from just over $30 to nearly $50 in the last year of my visits. Also we were under the impression no regular water was available, only $7 liter bottles. This was odd."
"Very cool atmosphere in an almost century old home. The service was phenomenal. Full bar, great wine selection, and plenty of beers to choose from. The Artichoke app is lightly battered, fantastically fried, and delicious. The she crab bisque was the best I've had. The ribeye was perfectly seasoned. Gelato is a true delight. This is a must stop for the foodie fans."
"I enjoyed everything from when I first walked in the door with the Hostesses, the servers, Chris and Kristina. I love how everyone is so inviting and open to talking about the history and services rendered. The drinks and appetizer that were passed were superb every time. The patio was very cozy and inviting. I will most definitely be back. I can't wait to experience the brunch on Sunday and some other things. I love how they like to keep it local. Make sure ypu get the Top Tier Old Fashion and get that experience. I must say, indeed worth every penny. The Lavender Lemon Drop Martini was Everything as well."
"We had a nice experience on our date night (Alan is an excellent waiter). We recommend the oysters, she-crab bisque (though it packs a little heat), and the lobster agnolotti. The new old fashioned was also very good and smooth. Overall we enjoyed our meal and recommend a visit."
