"My experience here was very pleasant. The food was cooked to order, so it came out super fresh. I loved the fact that they have board games for you to choose from to keep you occupied while waiting. My friend and I played trouble, and were completely distracted from the fact that we were still waiting for our food. We tried the appetizer platter which consisted of fried pickles, fried oyster mushrooms and onion rings. All were a 10 out of 10! The flavor was on point. My friend had their tacos (she enjoyed those as well) and I had the Fried oyster basket. French fries were on point. Seasoned to perfection! I like their sauces, the dill ranch was my fav. It is located in the old hickory hill mall, sketchy location, but the vibe was very lowkey inside. All in all, I had a great experience and would recommend to those looking for vegan/plant based dining options."

"In our quest to eat healthier we decided to try this restaurant. We aren’t from here we google healthy places to eat in Memphis and read reviews. The name - Sun of a Vegan caught our attention so we decided to try. Upon arrival we were a bit confused because entered what appears to be an abandoned mall. They are located in the food court of the mall, which had been purchased by a local church. I got the heat burger and my wife got the simple burger and also ordered a vanilla shake. We recommend giving this place a try, the food was really good. Several patrons raved about the oyster po boy. I wanted to try it but the word oyster does something to my brain."

"Okay, coming in I was immediately on edge. It’s located inside of the food court of what appears to be an abandoned mall. Super creepy yet, very cool. The food though!? Oh my gosh! Memphis HOW do y’all do it so well!? That was the best po boy I’ve ever placed in my mouth! I did not get photos bc as soon as I unwrapped it I smelled it and swallowed it."

"I ordered the SOV lasagna and Jumbo BBQ sandwich and fries. Amazingly delicious. Very flavorful and plenty of food. First time trying and I did Not miss the meat."
