"I haven’t been to the restaurant yet but they catered at my job. I didn’t get a chance to their wings. I’m on a meat fast but they smelled good and smokey. But the zucchini and yellow squash medley was very very tasty. Not mushy at all. Slight crunch like you’d want your veggies. Will definitely try the wings and others at a later date."
"It's clear that this place will continue to get poor reviews until the staff starts telling the customers that gratuity is automatically applied to take-out orders. I didn't even sit down to eat there and unknowingly tipped the server 30% for a TAKE OUT MEAL. I gave her cash and she didn't tell me the tip was included. I only didn't give them 1 star because at least they have a decent amount of vegan/vegetarian options. I got fried rice with veggies and plantains. The portion was very small for $15. It was well seasoned and tasteful but drenched in oil. I will not return."
"Excellent experience !! Great Great Food, Superior Service and Superb Atmosphere !! This is a must visit when in Memphis.......the Beef Patties as appetizers and Ox Tails as an entree were both flavorful and filling !! Can't miss Traditional Jamaican & Panamanian dishes !!"
"I stopped in for lunch after hearing from one of their cooks how good the food is. After trying the restaurant, I was disappointed and underwhelmed with the overall quality of the food. It was not flavorful, hot, or seasoned well. The cabbage had little to no seasoning and while the portion size was good, I ate very little of it. The beans and rice was precisely the same. The Jerk shrimp had a few seasonings which were visible on the shrimp, but somehow the texture of the shrimp were tough. My bill came out to $45. I don’t mind paying for food. I simply expect good food. The customer service was good and so was the ambiance. I didn’t get remotely close to “authentic Caribbean cuisine,” flavored food. Everything pictured is what I left. The plantains were pretty good, but slightly over cooked. Plantains normally are crunchy, but crispy. Not to mention, the food is overpriced for such poor quality tasting food."
