"Delivery: No yams on my plate but Mrs. Peggy shows side as an option… Dressing tastes like stove top …. Chicken has no seasoning….. And greens are bland…. But the cranberry sauce was on point…. Ohhhhh hold up the cornbread was horrible overcooked on outside gooey inside"

"I've visited several time but my most recent visit was worth bragging about and reviewing. I don't know who was in that kitchen but they know what they are doing! Everything on my plate was delicious! I had fried pork chops that were perfectly fried and not dry, yams that were sweet and the perfect texture, and cabbage that melted in my mouth with perfect seasoning. Y'all they are certainly heavenly."
"This is the place to go for a nourishing meal in a quiet, unpretentious setting convenient to Elmwood Cemetery. Wally says we should make this a regular lunch place on all future trips to Memphis. I found the seasoning a little heavy on some dishes. Cornbread was really good. Although credit cards are accepted, cash payments may be preferred due to technical difficulties."
