"The food is usually very good, prepared correctly, and served in a timely manner. It is typically one of my favorite spots for something to take with me for lunch. I was very disappointed today, an hour and a half before closing. There wasn't any sweet tea available out front or in the back. I asked for some, and the staff refused to make any. Meanwhile, two of them were standing behind the counter on their phones."

"The food was excellent, I got the French Dip sandwich and the pimento and bacon Mac & cheese, my girlfriend got the Newk's Q, and my kid got the 5 cheese Mac and cheese. The staff were friendly and helpful with our couple of questions. There's high chairs and kids cups if you need them. The inside reminds me of a mix between Pamera and Boston Market. They also sell the soup in large containers to take home to have for a couple meals."

"Wow I love coming to Newk’s. The food is fresh; the people are super friendly; the restaurant is always clean; and service is fast. I often get the Cobb salad and it’s incredible. Great fresh ingredients and lots of herbs and spices. They don’t skimp on the dressing either."

"First time for eating at Newk’s n Memphis. Was checking out the menu and spotted the chicken and sausage gumbo and could not pass it by. While it doesn’t exactly match the picture it was really good. Got the Gumbo as a combo with the 10” supreme pizza. My partner stole a slice of my pizza and saved me from being a total pig. She picked the chicken salad sandwich and claimed it to be excellent as well. Unfortunately I had no room for desert. I’ll be back for that."
