"My husband and I decided to try Molly's for dinner. Our waiter, Destin, was Wonderful!! Gave great food suggestions and great customer service. We had the fajita quesadilla, build your own burrito, bacon wrapped chicken, half and half top shelf margaritas. Everything was delicious. We will be returning and hopefully Destin is there."
"First off, to compliment, I will say I am glad to see the addition of vegan options as I've transitioned to a plant based lifestyle. However, It's sad to see a Memphis staple dive off the deep end. This is some of the worst food I have ever had. The price point for the vegan food is laughable compared to what was served. Disappointing that Molly's has an extensive vegan menu but still applies a "vegan tax". I ordered take out for the brunch menu, two vegan breakfast burritos with a side of black beans. $14 after tax for what I received is robbery. They left off the avocado, the burrito wasn't even properly folded... the black beans were cold and tasted like they had just been plopped out of the can onto the plate. I was really excited to have another vegan-friendly place to add to my rotation, but I cannot imagine I will ever eat here again. After reading other reviews, it seems like this restaurant should really take into consideration what people are voicing. The replies to reviews are defensive and don't hold any accountability."
"Deliver milk across the street often. Today I decided to try this place. I eat a mostly keto diet which they’re menu is decent for. Ordered two relleno peppers and the Mexican spinach instead of rice and beans. Personally i have never had relenos done with a dry ancho was reluctant, but they were very good. With a couple minor change’s would be great. First the spicy taco meat is a bit dry, should be fresh at 11am. Maybe try mixing some cheese sauce with the meat before stuffing the peppers? Secondly they were just a bit overcooked which made it difficult to cut, actually broke the plastic fork halfway through the second. Now the mexican spinach was great. My only complaint with this t is if I’m subbing two sides maybe put an extra scoop in? Now since I ordered takeout i got my ticket before the food of course. I noticed a 10% service fee. At first I thought maybe its to cover the togo box snd plastic ware. Then wondered why call it a service fee? Total was 17.03 which I originally planned just leaving a 20. I looked at google reviews and noticed that they charge a 10% and a 20% service fee for takeout and dine in. Takeout technically shouldn’t have a tip cost but I typically do if I’m treated well. Dine in should be totally up to the customer. If the server just did their job and nothing more 10%, if they did they’re job well 15%, if they do they’re job and are personable interact well with customers 18-20%. It id a service oriented job and is paid based off the service you receive. No different than getting a raise at a hourly job for doing well. Do a good job and the majority of customers will tip well. Giving an automatic 20% tip which is high industry standard gives no incentive to give great service. I could honestly see a 10% service fee, then we the customers could decide to tip more or not. This is not a good practice in my opinion. Pricing was a bit high but not horrible. I just figure because of location compared to where I would normally eat Mexican food. Atmosphere was pretty good but wasn’t very busy so i can only go off what i had experience at the time."
"We ordered couple of things but not everything was good. We liked the chicken fajitas sizzler but I did not like the chicken fajita salad. The other things we ordered was average, not anything above and beyond. The atmosphere was good. You might have to drive around a little to find parking in this area."
"I must admit I'm quite pleased with my overall experience at Molly's La Casita . The entire staff from the front door to the back everyone was very attentive and nice. Staff members recommended their fav. I tried the southwest egg rolls simply perfect either ranch dressing. I got the Mexican Spinach (picture below) really good. The Mexican wings has a perfect crispy and seasoning. I love seasoning. The drinks are so worth it I got the sangria mixed with margarita . Again I loved my entire experience"
