"I had two huge bags of swag walking out of Macy's Backstage. I had only spent $51.45 and had gotten half of my family Christmas presents finished. I made me feel like I was doing something illegal. That store is full of everything from kitchen gadgets, kitchen towels and area rugs to children's toys, clothing and shoes to candy and snacks! You just can't go wrong there. If spending a lot of money on overpriced cheapware and flimsy clothing among snooty staff is what you like, then Macy's Backstage in Hickory off of Poplar Ave. isn't for you. The staff is so friendly and so funny. I was made to feel right at home. Everyone working in Macy's Backstage in the hickory Mall needs to be commended for how gracefully they handled every problem while it was small. And it is my opinion they should be the ONLY ones to train new hires at any store. Their happy smiles and great attitudes had every customer smiling and laughing by the time they left. Even people with the sourest looking faces coming into the store wore big smile's and looked more relaxed while carrying three or four big bags of swag! Bravo! Macy's Backstage! I'm going back tonight."

"The store is always clean and well organized. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Returning items at customer service has been effortless. I've never had a problem finding what I needed or similar to it. Online shopping and ship to store (free) is also amazing."
