"I have recently turned 21, and my godmother and I went out to have my first margarita. This place refused me alcohol, because my ID was still vertical. Even though I was legally 21 years old, they stated they are refusing me alcohol, and they asked to see my passport. What?!?!? They were very rude during this encounter with my dear family friend living almost an hour away! I explained in the past 12 days since I have turned 21 with the ice storm and working full-time that I have not had the chance to update my ID at the DMV! The long, blonde hair manager basically said too bad. The manager also told me that because I looked young they didn't believe me. I am sorry that I have a baby face! They were just very rude and not very understanding, especially when I turned 21 less than 2 weeks ago! I will be boycotting La Perla for a while!"

"It all started Saturday night when my dad made the statement that La Perla Tapatia was the best Mexican place in Collierville. My mom, Sarah and I had not eaten there or we didn't remember it being anything special if we had. This time my dad was absolutely right! I had a margarita on the rocks. It was delicious. Not too sugary and not too heavy on the mix. For my meal, I had a Tapatia Fajita. It had all the meats you want, tons of them and they were all delicious. Steak, chicken, shrimp, and chorizo pilled high on a skillet. The only negative was the guac was a bit salty. After our meal, I am convinced that La Perla Tapatia is the best Mexican place in Collierville."
