"Started off good and most everything tasted great. We tasted the grits and they tasted rank or spoiled. Perhaps the milk turned. I told the manager on duty was unconcerned and rude. Told me there couldn’t be anything wrong with my order without having tasted . I can’t understand why you would risk customers satisfaction over a bowl of grits. Also , this small letter she came to the table with that was not highly visible when you order is SAD. If you can’t stand behind your product enough to allow the customer to say what they taste, then You should close! Also, the use of this rule is subjective to who is making the complaint. The folk next to me were not black and they received a re make of their order without push back or a pitiful letter . The food isn’t that great but the customer service is garbage. I hope people read this and it helps them choose wisely where they spend time and money. I know I will."
"I've heard good reviews about this place. Went here for breakfast during weekend. There was no wait time and the service was quick. I got freshly made cinnamon roll pancakes. It was scrumptious, heavy, and luscious. If you have a sweet tooth, this dish is definitely for you. Card machine was not working and I had to pay cash. Otherwise, this place had a serene ambience and was worth the visit."
"Ate here with my mom over the weekend. Pros- the food I had was delicious. The bacon was salty, but I didn’t mind. The biscuits were HUGE and not too dry. I also recommend the cinnamon roll pancake! Cons- the restaurant service feels like it’s managed by someone without experience in a restaurant. We had a server at our table every 3 minutes I think and while they were polite it was a bit much. Also, one server got my mom a coffee refill and picked up the mug by the entire top where you drink from. She was also wearing a glove, which are often dirtier than hands. Additionally, when she returned the coffee (because they have to take it away to the front counter for a refill) she reached across the table and her baggy sweater sleeve dropped across the entire plate of hashbrowns and she didn’t notice. I said something to her (trying to be nice!) and she asked if I wanted a replacement, but I declined and opted to not eat them (I over-ordered in reality). So, good food but maybe get it to go?"
"Poor, Poor, Poor customer service. Pancakes over cooked. Beignets was not properly done did not add the sugar powder on top of the beignets. Sauce on Omelet, did not want to correct Omelette dish by removing/remaking omelet. Did not want to correct the order. Did not want to issue a refund(Spent $70). This location is awful. Supervisor yelling at the cooks while customers eating inside “Get off of my clock” while customers eating. Unprofessional…"
