"Very nice people, but I found an artificial nail in my fruit salad. Which means that the food preparers are not wearing gloves to cut up the fruit and we can believe this extends to how they handle all their food. I was sick. I was offered a refund, but its just so terrible."
"Stopped in here right after opening while in town for a conference, two days in a row. Great (strong) house coffee and delicious food served quickly. The breakfast sandwich was good but the breakfast burrito was phenomenal. Would love to stop in at a later hour in the future, given the amenities I didn't take advantage of, including lunch offerings and vintage video games."
"Food, coffee and ambiance was good. I debated between leaving 3 or 4 stars. I ordered the Santa Fe Burrito and asked for avocado which was $1 extra. I got about halfway through the burrito and had not seen any avocado. I went up to ask about it and the cook had a bit of an attitude. She said, “it’s there”. Then I was asked if I had opened the burrito because it could be at the bottom of the burrito. Sure enough, I had maybe a tablespoon worth of avocado spread in the last bite. Overall the burrito tasted good. Did not appreciate paying a $1 for barely any avocado and getting an attitude about it. I also had the hummingbird coffee which was also delicious. A bit on the sweet side so maybe ask for less honey if you want something less sweet"
"The Tamp and Tap is a half block away from the Peabody Hotel. I came for a morning coffee. I had the Açaí Bowl which was good. I had the Delta Eagle coffee drink with oat milk. It was fantastic!! It was dark chocolate with raspberry. Perfect combination on an unusually cold morning. The staff was very nice. Great spot!!"
"A nice quiet place to get some work done while having breakfast. From the name, I thought it was a beer pub but it's not. Burrito was very very good so I'll definitely be back to try other things."
