"First, set your expectations. This is a local bar where you can hangout with friendly folks and pay reasonable prices. It's a smoking bar with pool and darts and reminiscent of lower Broadway circa the 1990s. Next, enjoy yourself and have a great conversation with the incredibly friendly people, or just play pool for free and watch football on a Sunday afternoon."

What a perfectly sincere and true example of Southern hospitality to meet with negativity. We are gentle people (unless you mess with our babies or elderly). Blessings to you, sir."

"Too much cigarette smoke in the air, the floor looks like it has never seen a mop, tables were dirty, it's hard to find because the signs are worn out and the rear fire escape door was blocked by a minivan. Too many red flags. We didn't stay any longer than a minute. It looks like what you'd expect to see on an episode of Bar Rescue. We were really hoping to enjoy a few drinks, shoot some pool and get some food. Unfortunately this just wasn't the place. Edit: after the owner's response, I'm going to give it another go next time I'm in town. The response wasn't angry or hateful, they may have been having a bad week when I visited. If it turns out to be somewhere good, I'll be updating."
