"The pharmacy is (usually) decent. Not ever really “above and beyond” and a couple times got a little bit of unfriendly people but mostly it’s…fine. As far as the store in general…almost the opposite. I HAVE had a couple really friendly people. That helps! But a lot of the time it’s pretty bad. For one story, I was just there to pick up an order I paid for on the app. I waited at the photo counter for over five minutes without anyone there. So I went to the front and asked. She said go to photo counter. She paged. Went back. Waited a couple mins and a gal came out. Told her my name. She went back and asked if it was under a different name. Nope. Right location? Yep. She said go to the pharmacy. Okay…sure. Waited in line behind 4 people. They looked confused and said no go back. I did. Said I could give the order number to look up. She said no and it had to be under the name. Then kept asking if it was under another name and right location. Yep. I told her my order. She said oh yea I remember that. Went back and laughed with someone and got the order under my name. Never was like “oh, sorry.” Just gave me the receipt. Thaaaaanks. When I was at the front counter too, some employee was just staring at the line and not doing anything. What?"
"Was looking for a specific Halloween decoration and frustratingly Walgreens chose to use a single SKU for what could be any of three characters. I called several stores and reached Mia at the Slaughter and Menchaca location. She was super helpful and fast and thorough. She’s an asset to this location and her attitude and work ethic were amazing!"
"It’s a good Walgreens, way better than most. Employees are pleasant and helpful, pharmacy staff goes above and beyond which is rare for a Walgreens. They’ve had some issues with their coolers this summer but it seems to be fixed now. Staff was super attentive with making sure the drinks I purchased when the coolers were out were safe to consume without refrigeration. Selection on drinks is still bouncing back from that as of August 2023 but it’ll probably be back to normal soon."
