"We especially enjoy visiting this park It has a lot to offer and is very well maintained. This 42-acre park has: bicycling, jogging, walking trails with 1 mile, 1/2 mile, and 1/4 mile tracks; the trail goes around the 2-acre fishing lake stocked with blue gill, bass, and catfish, but catch-and-release only; 3 Baseball / Softball Fields (open April - July); Reservable Gazebo; Pavilion with Grill (Reservable April - November) for celebrations/parties; Reservable Picnic Sites; 3 lighted Tennis Courts; 6 lighted Pickleball Courts; Multi-purpose Court; Nature Area; Parcourse Fitness Trail; Play Fountain (Memorial Day-Labor Day, controls by bathroom entrance); 2 Playgrounds (tot playground and 5-12 year old playground); Year Round Rest Rooms; Shuffleboard Courts; and 2 Soccer Fields (Second week in August - Second week in November)"

"This park has it all. Beautiful lake with fountains. Many picnic areas and covered pavilions for rent. Picnic areas have drinking water and bbq setups. Two playgrounds with many trees around, creating natural shade. Good hiking trails. Plenty of parking."

"Des Peres Park is a great place for kids to play. It features two playgrounds for different ages as well as picnic benches for families to eat. There are walking paths that go through the park and around the lake. The park is clean and isn't too crowded. The bridges allow you to observe fish and fowl on the lake. The scenery is gorgeous."
