"Good dog park in Bastrop, lots of shade and places to run."
"This dog park is large and they have two sections with different enttances. One side is for large dogs and the other side is for small dogs. I don't go to many dog parks, but I think this idea is great. My dog is little and it was his first dog park experience. They have a kiddie pool next to a hose and spigot. Perfect for the 100 degree days. I met an incredibly sweet and smart lady at the park. I am working on getting in some more social time for my pup (and me), so we will definitely be back!"
"Spent a few hours here from 530pm to 8pm or so. Had a relaxing experience as I played with my children, my dogs socialization possibly improved and I myself met new people. The park is divided into two large fenced off areas by size of dog (big or small) sitting is adequate for a slow day. Couple picknick tables and 4 to 6 chairs on each side under a few large trees complete the scene. Is as advertised. Star off-no bathroom"
"Really nice dog park. Large small dog and large dog enclosures. Big shade trees and benches. Automatic watering stations and a dog wash station out front. Nice people hang out here - a real friendly place. Lady and I both love it."
"It's great! Seating, self-filling water bowls, and two separated sides to the park so you can keep dogs of different sizes away from each other. Not much for scenery like parks in Austin, but the park itself is everything you could want in a dog park. Hidden gem in Bastrop."
