Reviews
"Update: the public works field operator replied within a few hours (on a Sunday) and had the lower playground closed while they address the issue. Appreciate the quick response in light of the safety concerns for kids. 08/15/21: Visited the lower playground with our kids for about 5 mins before my feet and ankles were completely covered with fire ants. I was standing on the wood chip ground covering while my son was playing on the jungle gym. Received numerous stings and subsequently observed thousands of fire ants on top of and within the wood chips. Please keep your kids away from the lower playground area until this safety issue is remedied! I contacted the public works department and will update this review when I hear back. Seems like a great park otherwise."
"I've been doing Tai Chi Tuesday and Thursday mornings with Gene Smithson of Austin Systema and Taijiquan the past year and I love it. The park has nice clean restrooms, water fountains and well maintained pavilions and trails. Great place to come and work out or just go for a walk. Large off leash dog area as well!"
"Clean, small park. Walking path is nice."
"Nice neighborhood park. Good selection of play and climbing structures. Well-kept baseball fields."
"Rollingwood is easily one of America's best neighborhoods. Close to downtown yet has a small town, suburban feel. This park has playscapes for kids, fields for baseball, bathrooms, and more. Just a really nice gem of a spot."
