Cypress Village Neighborhood Park

"Love it here. I photograph birds , this place is great for that, but also great for track walking."

"Lakes that serve as excess flood water and drainage containment reservoirs with wide gravel walking/biking paths. A large area with two connected small lakes. One has a little island in it which is used by many Cormarants and egrets and some herons. Today there was a small flock of White Pelicans resting on the ground, winter visitors not often scene in such an urban environment. Not many people out on the trail even though it was a nice warm day. A pleasant, safe park for walking with or without the dog, or jogging or biking on the trail. Bring a water bottle. There is a nearby community center with facilities when open."

"If you have u have a toddler I wouldn't take them to this park. The ground stayed relatively wet after a light rain and there were big puddles on the ground at the bottom of the slides. There is no covering nor places for adults to sit while their kids play. If you do go, please be sure to keep an eye out for the rust on the hand rails. I wouldn't want your kids to cut their hands."

"Cypress village neighborhood is a really nice place. There are many of nice homes and it is in a great location there on harkey road. It is what I consider middle upper class housing if not upper class housing. They are so lucky to be located near that huge pond/ lake/sanctuary with a paved trail around it."
