"Nice park for the dog park, but also the concrete walking path. There's separate play areas for the small and big dogs. People usually favor the big dog area, but both are equally nice. The walking path is clean and people usually friendly. Starting from the dog park, it takes you to Wilderness Oaks Elementary School, then to Parman Library with entrances/exits at both places. Of course walking or running times vary, but on average, it's about a 45 minute walk starting from the dog park all the way to the library. Haven't measured the exact distance yet. The walking path is well maintained and cut short up to a few feet away from the path. Most pet owners pick up after the pets. There's a few bike riders on the path, but they're usually safe and not speeding down the path. Overall, clean park with nice walking paths and separate areas for big and small dogs."
"Beautiful park, definitely not going to use a porta potty in 100 degree weather. I wish the trail markers had distances on them. The dog park looks ok"
"It's nice that they separate big and little dogs and they provide water for them. I hated the fact that there are like tons of tiny tiny bugs that bite you like little mosquitos, and it stings. This is the cause that makes me think not to go back"
"A great place to take your dog to play with other dogs. Have been several times and always several dogs for my dog to play with. There is a small dog area and all dog area. The small dog area is usually pretty empty but good for very small dogs. The all dog area is big and has enough room for many dogs to run around. The only thing is that the area can get very dusty when there are many dogs running around. We also love to go on the trail behind the park as well. Paved and has many picnic tables along the route."
"The park is a good size. Rarely it becomes a bit unattended, only when they bring in new mulch. And usually takes them a while to spread it out so the dogs do it really dirty as well as everyone else who is in the just cloud. Dog owners are very good about picking up after their pets. To have two sections one for smaller dogs and one for bigger dogs. The section for smaller dogs always seems to be empty. The sectional with the bigger dogs seems to always be packed. Most people come in after 4:30. Sometimes it gets a little bit overwhelming especially nowadays with the. Most people don't wear a mask. There are water trays available in a water fountain for dogs. There's many balls scattered around as well as random toys. Parking can be a bit scarce since many people do come for the trails. Overall it's a good park for the dogs."
