"This horrible compamby billed me on January first, payment was due on the 18th, then send threatening letters to disconnect my service by the 25th. Are you serious? Is this even legal? There were no past due balances or anything. Payment had already been made. So 17 days to pay, and disconnection one week after. I really want someone to educate me on the legality of this."

"This water utility is the worst I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have to agree, "Don’t walk RUN as far from any home located in the Mustang SUD as you can". Try to buy a home that does not have any dealings with Mustang SUD. I would not even give them 1 star. My water bill is constantly increasing ranging from $180 to $250, when questioning them, they always refer me to my bill as if that would help me determine the problem? I pay my bill on time, but the service is terrible. Low water pressure is always an issue as well."

"Water got disconnected, and we made the payment. The next day I had my mom to stop by and see if was back on it wasn’t. I called them, waited 40 min to speak to someone. I was told that their system didn’t recognize the payment we made, she told me that should would manually put in the order and that someone would be there shortly. 3 hours later we get home and there’s still no water. Called the after hours emergency, was told that I would have to call back during business hours to have to water back on. Entire place is a joke, I followed protocol just to be told again to follow protocol the next day. I don’t even make home until after business hours so, there is literally no way to know if they actually sent someone out. 10000% do not recommend them as a water company, be better off digging a well in the back yard"

"Don’t walk RUN as far from any home located in the Mustang SUD as you can. CONSTANTLY switching payment due dates without notice then cutting off your water within hours of you missing a date they never told you about. Crooked and corrupt company determined to make you spend hundreds if not thousands on reconnection fees and late fees. We would often end up paying them back to back cause it was due the 30th so we paid the 30th then all of the sudden 3 days after we just paid them our water is shut off! Why!? Because the next months bill got moved up from the 30th to the 1st without notice. So they expected us to pay 2 months worth of water bills in TWO DAYS. Then we paid on the 1st two months without issue before our water is cut off again on the 16th… why? Now the due date is the 15th. Again, NO NOTICE AND A $145 reconnection fee. Not to mention a $35 late fee. We asked why no notice was given and were told they were texting us… to a number that we haven’t had in 1.5 years that they have told us numerous times that they updated. And we signed up for digital bills because they swear these due date changes were on the letters they mailed but they aren’t. We still have yet to receive a digital bill. Oh and now they want to charge a fee when we DISCONNECTED SERVICE because we moved out saying we have insufficient funds to make a $135 payment when there are THOUSANDS in our account. Called our bank to verify and they never even tried to charge us. They are so corrupt it’s sickening. Seriously RUN!"

"Mustang is the ABSOLUTE WORST water utility provider we have ever had to use! Their rates are exorbitantly high and unjustifiable! Whether we use the sprinklers or not that month, whether we’re away on vacation or home, the bill is still close to $200/month for our small family of 2 adults and a child. Recently, as seen in the pictures, we had a water leak, it was awful just flooding into the street. Well, I called the Mustang 24 Hour/Day, 7 Days/Week number as stated on their website, even going so far as to state that agents are working from home so all emergent calls WILL be answered and the ONLY option offered was to make a payment, which summarises the culture of the company. It’s disgusting! We had to call the Fire Department for assistance. I pray that this company improves the way it operates because this cannot continue! It’s appalling!"
