"Permit required! Nice trails all around if you can't step inside, one leads you down near the DuPage river where you can step in the water. There are two dog parks here, one for small dogs and one for big dogs. The big park is very spacious and one of the nicest dog parks I've been to. The fields are kept very clean. There's lots of different "enrichment" areas for the dogs to explore, like tall grass and a wooded area with a walking path in the middle. The entire park is a big loop and is a great way to practice off leash recall and off leash walking. Great way for both humans and their pups to get a walk in!"
"A cool park. Most people here are really nice (a notable exception is the lady who yells whenever another dog acts playful around her dogs. People know to avoid her and just roll their eyes when she yells, “Whose dog is this?!,” as if her dogs are aren’t the most wild-acting of all dogs there). It would be nice if they had better bathrooms than the outhouse-style one they have. So far, we haven’t had any bad experiences with aggressive dogs, though there are occasionally dogs that play too rough, so we try to stay on top of the risk."
"Now if this isn't happiness I don't know what is. There are a lot of regular here that are so great to us and you can tell they love their dogs! It's so fun coming here and playing with different breeds"
