"Went to see some bluebells in mid-April. The trail was around 3 miles long and a loop with gorgeous river views and plenty of elevation changes. Parking was full because of the nearby campground so we had to park at a different trailhead and walk to this. Restrooms here were much cleaner than where we parked."
"I've hiked this trail at least three times, it's absolutely lovely. Most recently on a mild Sunday afternoon in January, I only saw three other people, the river was low, and it was a great day to appreciate the rock formations. The trail itself is clearly marked and easy to follow, but be careful if you have ankle or knee trouble: the path is delightfully rooty and rocky with some steep steps along the way."
"Nice trail, 3.2 mile loop. Took me about 1.5 hours. Nice river overlooks along the way. Saw a fawn deer and a timber rattlesnake, pretty crazy to see a rattlesnake but he went his way and I went mine, he never made a sound."
"This is really nice trail. Very well groomed. Great look outs over the river. I think they should put in a couple of benches along the way. The picture of the river would be a great place for one. It would be a beautiful spot to sit for a bit. Also maps has this in Desloge, it's actually Bonne Terre"
"Bluebells are in full bloom. Absolutely breathtaking. Went clockwise to save the views of the river for the end. Muddy in spots but not too bad"
