"This park is nice and well kept but to me a total waste of taxpayer money. Closed at 5 on a nice perfect fall day. Sunsets around 730? Approached at 330 and made very aware the park closes at 5. I can read their sign and believe me there are plenty of signs. .... Caretakers dog tried eating our food. (YOURE DOG is not allowed). Watched closely by caretakers. They should be guarding the prison! All in my party were laughing at them as such silliness. We won't be back but I think that is what they want. Their own private park.. Don't believe me. Try it yourself. Let's raise our taxes some more to keep supporting a park NOBODY is using or feels welcome!? I recommend to our elected officials to close it. Thank you."
"Dog ran out of park owners house yet signs everywhere about tax paying visitors not bringing pets. They close at 5 and will definitely come up to you to tell you that. Such a shame when it’s a beautiful park. Mismanaged."
"Fairly large park with 5 pavilions, wide open spaces, a ball diamond & at least 3 fishing spots. Doesn't seem to get many visitors. Probably because of the unusually early closing times. In the springtime the park closes at 3:30pm, closes in the summer at 8:00pm & in the fall closes at 5:00pm. Plus, no alcoholic beverages & only support animals allowed."
"Great for watching the solar eclipse 2017. Not a lot to the park but there is a lot of space. Several small lakes I was gonna fish for a little bit till I found out you have to pay a daily fishing fee. Not sure how much, but I don't like that at all! I've already paid for a fishing license and I doubt I would've been reeling in a bunch of huge fish to make it worth it, but who knows."
