Reviews of Salt Lick Point Land And Water Reserve
"Love this trail. Can do a loop or add an out and back option to make the loop longer. Good challenge on the hills. Great terrain and beautiful sceneries."
"Don't go to the trailhead at St. Johns. It's in the middle of a neighborhood and doesn't have great parking. If my wife didn't point out the trailhead a bit of the road, I would have driven away in disappointment. We got permission to park at the church. There is a main trailhead of bluff road that is much better. Per the trail, it's amazing. The Newman trail goes along the creek and has cool ledges. I expected it to be dry, but was pleasantly surprised."
"Easy ... until Salt Lick Point's cardiac hill. Well maintained trails, nice and shady. Encountered several deer, lovely scenery and throughly enjoyed the hike overall."
"Great hike, gorgeous views from the outlooks on top of the trail. A moderately hard hike and there are some steep drop offs with narrow trails in a few areas, if hiking with kids keep them on the trail. Stay on the trails, lots of solid looking ground that's actually loose gravel. This is definitely worth another hike!"
