"Well on this date of 6/22/2022 I thought I would visit this area of the river to find out if it had water, due to out of date photos on Google , well we all need to pray that the rain God brings plenty of rain to fill up this beautiful area of Espantosa Park. Came across two folks that I thought I wouldn't have ever think I would talk to, one was catching live bait for Gar, and the other was a local that was a very nice young guy who brought his kayak to the river to do some fishing before dark, ( guy is in the photo in kayak)he told me that thier was fish in the river and he has caught a few bass in a different location.... So I tried fishing this spot for about an hour with some bass lures, but I did not catch anything, but I will definitely try again another day. I did see some Fish splash in the water.?? #Pray4Rain"
