"A great place for the kids to cool off and play at Wooden Wonderland too. Place to sit and have a lunch or picnic too. And the new facility is really nice too! Thanks Duane Long and the Dixon Park District Staff for all this and the new equipment and extra stuff in Dixon and Lowell Park!!! My grandkids love it❤️"
"Loved the park my little one had so much fun running around"
"My grandchildren LOVED it! They played together & had a BLAST going from"bucket dumping -to shooting water at eachother. It was fun watching them play! I just wish they had a bench as soon as you get out of your car in handicap area! Plus it would be nice to have a rest room closer."
"It was a great place, especially for kids under 5 and having the park adjacent to it made it the perfect spot to burn energy!"
"They are absolutely crushing this. I reviewed Wooden Wonderland already but to put this splash pad next to that is a home run. Once the grass is established, this will be a fantastic place to bring the kids for a few hours of free entertainment. The Splash pad itself is simple enough, but provides just enough entertainment. I've been to more elaborate ones and they don't offer any more than this does. You can always see your kids and they can always see you. And when the picnic structure is done, I see this place being busy ALL weekend. ONE THING.................... What is going on with those solar panel charging stations? The sun is South, ALWAYS. Yet somebody installed fixed sun shades with solar panels on them that face North, West, and South West. I have to believe they didn't quite understand what they were doing. But those bad boys are going to shade the sun AND make solar power much better if they're all facing south."
