"Older county campground 30Amp grass sites, muddy when we were there. Kind of hard to find the sign is blocked by trees steep hill to get into the park off of the highway. If you miss the turn don't try and go through the little town - Village NO WAY BACK TO MAIN ROAD ITS A DEAD END! It would be a good place to camp and boat."
"Great place to visit while boat on Mississippi River. Love sitting on their deck with a drink and listening to live music on a Sunday afternoon. Also have great breakfast. Very reasonable boat fuel prices."
"A little tough to find, and there was nobody available when we arrived at 3:30pm to check in We found our name on a paper in the campground message board, so we went ahead and set up. We had a nice view of the marina...the sites are grass with picnic tables, electric and water. There is a dump station onsite as well. We did hear a nearby train several times during our stay, but it wasn't terrible. We did not use the restrooms so I can't comment on those. Overall, for the price, it is not a bad spot for a day or two. A little confusing with nobody around, but once you get set up, it's not bad. We camped in a 27' motorhome."
"Regarding the campground: Decent place if you care less about sleep and safety!! Our neighbors stayed up till 4 AM with loud music and occasional fighting and vulgar language. The train also passes by every couple of hours and it is very loud. Not to mention the steep road down to the park, immediately off the main road. It's probably 45 degrees so make sure you have the horsepower to climb it back with your rig and honor the stop sign at the top of the hill! Lastly, the lots are grassy. When it rains they get muddy and I heard some RVs got stuck the night before."
"Camping, band during the day so it's kid friendly, Bar up the street within walking distance, and food to order"
