"It turned out much better than I expected after reading many of the previous reviews. It does have a snack shop, a decent sized waiting area and the ice surface was maintained well. It also helped that we won the game."
"Not the greatest facility in the world. No concession stand, old bathrooms, not much for the folks watching. You’re also getting a less than stellar experience as the visiting team. Similar things have happened before but on this visit, we had the horn sound twice just as we were on breakaways. Funny how they accidentally found the horn button at the precise time. I’ve worked plenty of clocks in my day, and they usually hide the horn button pretty well. Also interesting the refs made no effort to correct it, just drop the puck at mid-ice and didn’t even have a discussion with the clock operator, outside a simple shoulder shrug."
"Riverview Ice House is in a picturesque location next to the Rock River. Inside the business, a well-lighted lobby and ice rink. From the stands, you have a good view of the ice rink. Location inside and outside looks clean and well maintained. Music can be heard clearly. Collectively a good place to ice skate."
