"At the end of January my daughter and I stayed at the Claridge House for 3 nights, taking advantage of the Sweater Weather discount. I had stayed at the Claridge House 35 years before, with my own mother! It meant the world to me to share this place with my daughter. The way the hotel is run is very personal. When making the reservation 3 months before, to the day we arrived, the staff talked to us like we mattered. Front desk person Lorrie and barista Lorena especially. No aloof treatment! Our room had this great view over the neighborhood, which provided great walks and great meals. I’m so glad this place is still in existence and both of us will plan another stay here hopefully next year! As soon as we can."

"I had a wonderful stay at Claridge House. The hotel is small and tastefully decorated in a wonderful, walkable neighborhood in the Gold Coast. Check-in was easy and the people working here are lovely. Helpful, friendly and down to earth. The room was quiet and I had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed. I'd love to return."

"I was only there for one night, but the hotel exceeded expectations. Staff was consistently friendly and helpful. I was in and out quite a bit and never passed a staff member that didn't make eye contact and say hello. The room was compact, but fully functional and more than adequate for my solo trip. Everything worked and was well maintained. Ample hot water, water pressure, good bedding and towels. I was on the back side, zero noise from the outside. Excellent wifi. It's in a very safe, walkable neighborhood with services, restaurants, etc. near by. About 3 blocks from the Red Line stop at Clark/Division which worked great for my trip from Union Station. The 3rd Coast Cafe on the corner was great for lunch and dinner. Good food, excellent servers."

"My sister and I booked a last minute trip to Chicago from New York and had the best time ever. We saw the Claridge had availability still for the night we were staying in town and booked the room right away. Trever & Cookie were exceptional at check in and made us feel so special and welcomed us to Chicago. We loved the shared spaces and location of the hotel as well as the room! That night they offered wine taste in the lobby where were were able to meet Lea, the Director of food and beverage who was absolutely so wonderful! We will definitely be coming back to stay again!"
