Staypineapple, An Iconic Hotel, The Loop Chicago

"This hotel is in a great location! We walked to dinner each night, saw the Picasso an Millennium park, and stopped at the most beautiful Target for some last minute baby supplies. It is not part of the "lifestyle". Stayed here with my husband and 2 young children. The building and room are beautiful and staff were all very friendly and helpful."

"Edit: Unfortunately I had to come back and update my review after reviewing my bill once I'd returned home. I'm sure this was disclosed somewhere before but I'd missed it. This hotel charges a daily "amenity fee" of $19.95. I ABHOR these types of charges! The advertised daily cost should be the daily cost (plus tax of course). To add a daily fee not shown when searching properties is intentionally deceptive. I do not care if everyone else does it, you can be better. Clean comfortable room. Liked the fun atmosphere and the faint smell of pineapple everywhere. Will definitely look for Staypineapple properties on future trips!"

"We drove up from Indy with my family to catch a YoYo Ma concert for my birthday. Casandra was SO amazing and sweet! She made me feel like I was stopping in at a friend’s house for a sleepover. I had a little birthday note and snacks waiting for me in the room too. Made me feel so special! The vibe of the hotel and all the fun cozy pineapple themes were so charming. The food at the restaurant was really yummy too. The waitress and the bartender (forgot the names, sorry)I were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome too. Where do you find all these awesome people?! Do you have to take a personality test to be an employee? Definitely went above and beyond! The only sad part was not getting to stay longer. Thank you guys!"

"This hotel is a hidden gem! It’s close to everything, super cute and I felt safe. Aside from it being a clean establishment, the customer service at the front desk and hotel bar are top notch! Cassandra was friendly, personable and full of great restaurant recommendations! And I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman that checked me in and made sure I had everything I needed. I also have to shout out Jasmine at the bar! Best. Drinks. EVER! I will definitely stay here again - whether it’s business or personal travel!"

"Enjoyed a great stay. All the staff were very helpful and polite. We ate in the restaurant one night and enjoyed the food and drink (which were reasonably priced). The location is brilliant for both walking and access to the various transport options. This is an old iconic hotel, in a great location with good staff - and very reasonably priced. Happy to recommend for anybody seeking reasonably priced accommodation in the heart of it all (and really easy access from O'Hare airport from the Blue line)."
