"Chicago IL location I can't speak to the doggy daycare service but when it comes to boarding, I would ask to tour the facility before choosing to board here. The luxury rooms are nice and quiet but for general boarding I do not recommend. It felt very much like false advertising to see the normal boarding space. The general boarding area is a large room with lots of kennels facing each other, some stacked. For dogs with any level of anxiety it would be a very challenging environment. I am sad to say I have left my older dog here a few times prior to seeing the space and I now understand why she seemed hesitant about going back. She loved the people (and I will say the staff is great!) but the space itself was not comfortable for her - and she is typically a very chill dog. After getting my second pup, I wanted to make sure the kennel space was big enough for them to comfortably be boarded together with their bed. Both of my dogs were extremely anxious entering the space and I could tell it was too much for my rescue in particular. Unfortunately, I had travels that prevented me from cancelling my reservation - otherwise I would have done so. Instead the staff helped me upgrade to one of their luxury rooms. As I stated previously, their luxury rooms are MUCH better - I did feel okay leaving my dogs there. Those rooms are walled off and significantly bigger. However, for the cost, I think there are much better alternatives to this facility. I think they need to be more transparent with their advertising because I was shocked to see what I was paying $60+ a day for. I do want to reiterate that the staff was very kind and the facility did seem clean. Overall though, I do not recommend."

"The BEST. Took amazing care of my baby (Elsie) cannot say how much it means to have humans you trust, when it comes to pet boarding it's so much more than a transaction. Grateful for Best Friends and extremely lucky to have them in Chicago, THANK YOU!"

"My dog always has a great time at best friends, playing with all the other dogs & getting such great attention from staff. I love watching him have a blast on the play cams & getting his photo. Leaving him at best friends gives me such peace of mind & allows me to have a good trip. Highly recommend!!"

"One of the few places that offer pocket pet (guinea pig, bunny, etc.) boarding at a reasonable price. They even take pics of your pet and send them while you're away. Super responsive both via phone and email, solid opening hours providing flexibility in pickup times. Love them!"

"I like the ladies that work there. They always take our little Hope with love. They have different picture days and dress up the pups. The only thing is that they stay open until 6 pm. I wished the hours were a bit longer on the weekdays."
