"Our dog absolutely loves coming here. He can't get out of the car fast enough. The staff our fantastic and so friendly. We know our dog is well looked after while he is here."
"Rover’s Place is fantastic. My dog is always happy to go here, and the staff express so much joy to see her when we come in. She never smells bad when I take her home, they keep it very clean and have cameras so you can spy on your pupper. They have phenomenal customer service here and we feel very comfortable leaving our dog with them!♥️"
"We had a very mixed experience boarding our dogs here, and unfortunately the bad outweighed the good. I would give 0 stars but the caregivers were lovely. I was at first impressed by their temperament testing and felt confident to board our two dogs for a week. When we picked them up there wasn’t anyone at the desk for me to confirm cost or payment with. I asked the caregiver and she said they would follow up - I never got an invoice or receipt (had to check my credit card statement to even see the total). Overall the administrative side of the business did not impress me. I did think the caregivers all seemed to love the dogs. The serious issue came when right after we got home we noticed one of our dogs behaving strangely. We watched her and realized she had symptoms of bloat. She was rushed to emergency surgery within 2 hours of us bringing her home from boarding so it’s almost certain it happened while at boarding. Amazingly she survived (chances of surviving bloat are quite small). A few days after she was home from the hospital and mostly out of the woods I called Rover’s Place to give them a heads up that it happened. I asked to speak to a manager and tried to very kindly fill her in. I truly placed no blame on them, my hope was that if they were aware it could serve as a reminder to keep a close eye on the dogs in their care for signs of bloat. She immediately became very defensive and rude. I explained I was not asking for anything except that maybe this would be a reminder and help any dogs in the future. She was then silent and after an uncomfortable amount of time said “ok” and hung up. Unprofessional doesn’t begin to describe it. Overall, I think the employees caring for the dogs truly enjoy them and seem kind. The administrative side of the business is alarming to me and we will clearly never be back. I later realized I had no idea if my dogs were boarded together in a room or separately - I had asked and was told they would see how it went. Boarding pups requires a good amount of trust and they certainly lost mine."
"We call Rovers Place "doggie camp" because our dog loves coming here so much. She bounds in tall wagging and is usually greeted by name by the staff who have so gotten to know her. So good to know that while we're on vacation having fun, she is, too."
"I chose the right Doggy Day care and boarding for my Irish setter, Luna since she was three months old. Luna is always so happy and excited when I say “ Luna, you are going to Rovers Place”. The care is excellent and the staff keeps a close eye on our loved ones. For example - I came in to pick up Luna and there I saw Luna, in front at the gate. I asked Courtney - “Is that my Luna?” And Courtney told me that they found a tick in her hair and immediately removed it and treated the area of her head. So, I’m (very over due) giving a huge shout out to Rovers place. I always felt safe and calm leaving my Irish under the care of the Rovers Place staff. Thank you."
