"Scrubco was recommended to me by a family member, I heard that they did quality work and was excited to hire them. However, when we hired them for a new house cleaning service, the quality of work was extremely sub par. When speaking to the scheduler they mentioned that they did everything we requested for this package, cleaning baseboards, windows, removal of Cobb webs, etc. the whole 9 yards for a detail clean. They arrived at 2:10 and by 3:00 they said they were done. We are not the type of people who want to micromanage people. But my husband had to inform them of everything they missed and had to spend an additional 40 mins showing them spots they missed. Now when you hire a service you hire them because you don’t have the time to take care of these things, having to double check work or making sure people do their jobs is not part of the experience we signed up for. When he asked if they dusted the closets for Cobb webbs they said yes only for my husband to find multiple closets and spaces that had webs, they didn’t clean any baseboards but rather dusted them with a dry rag. The kitchen counter still feels dirty and not a single window was cleaned. The floors remain with debris on the ground. They didn’t even clean the bathrooms until my husband asked them, when saw dust around the toilet. It just feels like the team that came in was ready to end the day and go home. Awful experience. I would not recommend."

"We used Scrubco for about 2 years for commercial office cleaning. We has issues often with their office around scheduling, they'd forget the keys to our office and made many attempts to help them understand how the recycling can't be mixed with the garbage. We kept giving grace, understanding we are all human. The ladies who do the cleaning are nice, but often late and continuously mixed up the garbage/recycling. They did a generally good job, but not great. The woman who handles scheduling and billing however, was the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. They were over an hour late to clean last week, we had an important meeting and couldn't receive cleaners so late in the morning, so I texted the office to reschedule. The office insisted that I still pay for the service THAT THEY WERE LATE FOR so that is when I cancelled their service altogether. And now that I'm lookin at other companies, I'm getting a better price AND they can guarantee they will be done before 9am. Good riddance!"

"My experience with Scrubco of Wayne, IL. The first time they cleaned my home I has at home sitting in my office and the girls just walked right in without ringing the doorbell! I was very shocked by this as I had never used this company before. There were 3 women whom they sent to clean non of them spoke English very well so, trying to communicate with them was not easy. I showed them around the house and they went to work. After they were done I had noticed that the master bathroom was not cleaned. They had not cleaned the faucets or several large mirrors in the bathroom. I had them reclean the bathroom I asked if she had cleaned the floors and she stated that she did but I personally never saw them use my floor cleaner. I had told the owner that I only want them to use my Vacuum and floor cleaner in my home. This was not communicated to the women as they showed up with their vacuum. I stopped them before they brought it into our home, stating to them no, I don’t want other people’s dirt in our home. Before they arrived the second time I called again and asked if they could please make sure that the women are aware that I want my vacuum, and mop used not the one they bring. Shannon, who answers the phone stated to me that this would be taken care of. I informed her that I did not want my Husband trying to communicate to them because I would not be home. Our second experience was worse than the first! We only had them do a partial cleaning of our home basically the rooms we use every day. My husband had to go out for the day so, the women were left to clean our home. According to Shannon, this is their best team! Well, I would hate to see what the worst team is like. They did not vacuum the main living area of our home there was hair on the floor in our master bath, the toilet was not scrubbed, the sink counters in the master were not clean the kitchen counters were not clean, none of the rooms were dusted it was as if no one had been there to clean! My husband called me when he arrived home asking me did they come and clean? because it sure does not look like it. I called Shannon when I arrived home to inform her of our findings when we arrived home. She never did call me back! I had to call her again the next morning. I stated to her that I had taken pictures of our home before leaving to make sure that they did clean this time. I asked her to have the owner call me as I would like for him to come and see our home. She stated to me that the women had a full schedule today and that they could not come back today. I asked her to refund my money and she said we will refund your money and you can find another cleaning company! NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Believe me, I will find another company one that cleans and cares about their customers. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! I never did hear back from the owners."

"They were great the first two cleanings then everything went downhill. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and had them keep coming thinking maybe it was a fluke. The quality of cleaning just kept getting worse. They don't like to clean under or on top of anything. Didn't clean under or behind chairs, under beds, under dressers, under or on top of armoir, didn't dust on top of door frames, on top of fans, or dust corners of rooms. I complained about cob webs still being there and they still didn't clean them! Didn't clean mold under faucet in tub.... They had to have not cleaned it multiple times for mold to develop in a year old tub! They just make your house look clean at a quick glance but in reality it's not clean at all! The worst part was they must have moved our fridge and knocked the cords lose. It turned our freezer off and we didn't realize it until it was too late. We lost all of our food!! We called to complain and they won't answer the phone or return messages! Worst experience ever!!! Do not use them!!!"

"Extremely disappointed with this company. I called on a Tuesday to see if there was any chance they could squeeze us in the following Monday and acknowledged upfront that it was short notice and we understood if they couldn't accommodate us. I didn't hear back for two days! They were able to fit us in which we appreciated. They told me it would cost $135. I wasn't there for the actual cleaning but as I understand it, one of the maids made snide comments about our house being messy (I don't know why she thought she was there if she expected a clean house) and then...we were charged $150! I have called and emailed to complain and gotten no response. We were considering signing up for regular cleanings if we were satisfied with the service, but I guess someone else will get our business now..."
