"Very kind husband and wife. I love that they don’t make your clothes smell chemically like other places. One evening, as a regular customer, I brought in something to be repaired by the seamstress. She didn’t feel she could get the stitching just perfect, but I asked her to repair it anyways. So she went ahead and did it right in front of me and gave it back insisting on no payment. Very generous. Great place to support."

"I have been a paying customer of Green Cleaners for over 10 years. Jay was unbelievably rude to me recently. They use very thin thread to make repairs and I have repeated issues with freshly repaired clothing ripping on the first wear. I brought this up to him and he yelled at me in front of another customer that it was "not his problem!" I am floored that he could be so disrespectful and unaccountable. I hope he learns to be more courteous. Take it from me and TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. 5/23 -In response to the request to remove my review due to confusion- no confusion here. I used your name. "Formal dress has black netting under the arms attaching front and back of the dress. The netting had a small hole. They “repaired” it by adding another layer of netting that had a polka dot pattern (not plain black like the original) but also left the torn netting in place under the new netting so you could clearly still see the hole through the new netting. All in all it was a very amateurish and inadequate repair. Also, when I originally dropped off the dress they said the woman who would do the repair wasn’t there but would look at it, decide what could be done and call me the next day to discuss. There was no call at all about the repair, the decision to use different netting (they didn’t have any plain on hand), or the price of the proposed repair (they charged $48 to clean and “repair” the dress). When my teenage daughter went to discuss the problem of the still visible hole and the mismatched netting she was treated rudely and told she was wrong for not liking the new netting. They did remove the old netting panel with the hole when she went back so at least that wasn’t visible anymore. They said if she went and bought her own plain black netting at a fabric store and brought it in they would put that in to replace the polka dot panel for free. Overall not a good experience. We will go elsewhere in the future."
