"We have gatherings here with an MS group, always been nice."
"Extremely well-run pool with facility as a whole blessed with friendly and helpful staff!"
"The weight & cardio areas are always kept extremely clean and weights are often put back in their correct locations. They are somewhat limited in terms of equipment, but provide heavy dumbbells (up to 110s) to get the job done. The only thing I'd change is placing standard plates (non-bumper) within every rack so you don't have to grab them from one side of the room to another. It's typically not busy outside of peak hours but can get packed during the 6pm rush. Either way the equipment is great and you can pretty much do anything. Small details like providing wet-wipes, sweat towels, and maintaining clean locker rooms makes this an affordable and practical option for anyone who lives in the area. The only thing I wish they offered was a shower and or steam room!"
"Probably the best gym I've been to when compared with quality of equipment, amount of people and affordability. Just wish they had a sauna or steam room, that would give it a 10/5 stars."
"I’ve been coming here for years. They offer a separate 25yd pool from the recreational pool, which is really crucial for me. Bathrooms are spacious but always kinda dirty. The upstairs gym facility was recently remodeled and is pretty nice too. Not a lot of options for an indoor pool for me so I go here because it has a lot of lanes for lap swimming. Always closing the pool due to lifeguard shortages. They will send emails for a month telling you about maintenance on the indoor pool during a heat advisory, when no one can bear the weather and soup water at their sister outdoor pool (Shaw Park Aquatic Center). Then close the indoor pool when it’s scheduled to be open due to a shortage, even though the outdoor pool is in a weather constraint. The lifeguards will pressure wash the moldy feet goo from the deck into the pool while people swim laps. They will also spray chemicals on the stainless steel assistant bars while people swim. Leaving a noxious odor filling the barely ventilated pool area and the oil based solution floating on the surface of the pool. During the winter they prioritize the water temperature of the water polo players and make it so cold your toes go numb after 30 min. Lap swimmers and competition swimmers like it cold but not so much that the water temperature is in the 60s. The price of a membership has doubled in the last couple of years too."
