"We just finished our first year in PreK4 at SJS. Our experience has been spectacular. We were welcomed with events to meet other families before the school year began as well as orientation programs to acclimate to the school. I recall the PTA President saying “any SJS parent can pick up my kids from school”, I knew we were in the right place . My son’s classroom was full of activities and books- colorful and organized. His teacher and teacher aide truly cared about my son and gave candid feedback, they were both truly amazing and it was clear they love their job. Communication from the school is excellent , and there are always teachers and staff around at drop off and pick up. As a family, we are grateful to be a part of the SJS Community, it has brought me back to going to church. My son loves school, has grown so much, and is confident in himself. SJS is exceptional! We truly could not be happier as parents to know our son is at this school."

"Our two daughters have attended SJS for several years. I cannot say enough good things about this school. The education is top notch, particularly for the price, which is lower than other private schools in Lincoln Park. The school has twice received a Blue Ribbon for academics. The faculty and staff are caring and kind, always putting the kids and their education and wellbeing first. The kids are nice and polite (well, for children anyway), and bullying isn't tolerated. The community is great, and there are tons of ways for parents to get involved and form relationships with other parents. As a working parent, I have really appreciated how often other parents have had my back when I needed help getting the kids to/from, etc. I highly recommend anyone looking for small class size, excellent academics, and a well-run school check out SJS."

"Our family is new to St Josaphat School this year. After a number of years at CPS we were looking for a change in class size, learning environment and overall community feel. We are beyond pleased with our experience! We have one child in 3rd grade and were very concerned about the transition in a middle grade. It has been completely seamless. Our child has been welcomed with open arms and already made fast friends. Same goes for us parents, which has been an added bonus! She is enjoying the teachers, broad curriculum, extra curricular activities and has even taken to the simplicity of wearing a uniform. She often says, "I feel like I really belong here." St Josaphat has a great location, reasonable tuition and a fantastic community for K-8 education. Highly recommend!"
