"My experience at Olde Town Veterinary Hospital has usually been a good one seeing Dr. Miller with my beagle. Under very upsetting circumstances I had to put my fur baby to sleep due to progressive Cushing disease in September2023. A new female veterinarian showed no compassion as she gave a “relaxation” injection to my docile dog! It caused much discomfort to my pet unnecessarily!! Following this, she missed the IV and proceeded to inject some medication anyway! This was not proper procedure! The entire time, the vet tech said nothing. This incident caused more stress and sadness to an already distressing situation! If and when I acquire another dog, Dr Miller will be the only veterinarian to touch my animal!!"
"Everyone there is wonderful. The ladies at the front desk are all friendly and helpful. The techs and doctors are great. You can tell everyone really loves animals."
"Dr. Miller and Dr. Patterson were great, but the new vet is terrible and uncaring. I took my cat in multiple times over about 2 months because he would barely eat and was losing weight. His blood work was fine, so they sent us home every time without doing any more investigation. Obviously if he's losing weight and not eating, there is something going on, even if the blood work looks good. Eventually he stopped eating altogether and I took him to the emergency vet. It turns out he had a tumor that was completely blocking his intestines. Who knows how much longer I could have had with him if they had done a simple x-ray the first time his blood work came back normal."
"I really like this vet clinic. It felt warm and caring. When I had to send my Monica cat over the Rainbow Bridge, the staff was all very sympathetic and helpful."
