Reviews of Care Animal Center
"Dr. Spencer and the staff at Care Animal Center are a great team. My husband and I know our fur-babies are in the most gentlest and most capable hands whenever we have to go there with them."
"Dr. Spencer and the staff at CAC are so wonderful. We have had our pup there since the beginning, and he’s now 7 years old. They always show him (and us) so much love and compassion. Dr. Spencer always takes the time to answer all of my questions, especially now that he is a senior dog. Definitely recommend!!"
"I recently took my dog to be groomed, he looks so cute! Dr Michelle has always taken very good care of my dogs over the years. She is the most compassionate vet I’ve ever had. She actually sat on the floor holding our dog “Tucker” to give him his medicine. Care Animal Center is a wonderful place to take your babies!!"
"I would NOT recommend this veterinary clinic. The way this office is ran is terrible. They appear to only care about money, as they pack way too many appointments into their daily schedule only to have people come in, and sit and wait literally hours to have your pet seen. I have 3 dogs I have been taking them there for many years and have put up with the ridiculous scheduling and hours to have my pet seen because I thought Dr Spencer actually cared for my pets. But this past August I did a drop off appointment at 8am to have my 11 year old dog with cancer looked at for an eye infection. Only to arrive to pick him up at 5pm only to find out, he still hadn’t been seen. He sat in a cage all day and was never seen. I told them I had to pick my son up at baseball and had to leave. Dr Spencer cones out to my car with my dog and talks to me for literally 30 seconds. Not happy about this at all, but let it go. 3 months later, my dog takes a turn for the worst. I call, make an appointment for 4.30 on a Friday for a “ quality of life” appointment. Not knowing if I needed to put my dog down or not. I arrived with my terminally ill dog at about 4:20 pm. Sat in the waiting room until 6:15 pm. Brought into a room at 6:15ish. Only to sit there until :6:40. At that time Dr Spencer comes in and says I’m so sorry Amy, I have to be at Disney on ice with my kids at 7 o’clock. This was a quality of life appointment that I made in advance. . I was clearly upset that I was probably going to have to put my dog down, yet She made me feel guilty because she needed to be to Disney on ice in 20 minutes with her kids. I left in tears. They did prescribe and fill some medication’s for my dog. But no respect for my time, or my dog. I work in healthcare and I would never treat a patient that way. Especially to make me feel guilty that she needed to be somewhere with her kids. This was my last straw with this terribly ran office. At any time they could’ve came and told me that she was running behind and had somewhere to be an asked me to reschedule. However, they let me sit there for 2 1/2 hours knowing well they were not going to be able to see me. This place has lost my business. There was absolutely no respect for my terminally, ill dog.Caring for a terminally I’ll dog and trying to make the decision whether to put him down or not is extremely difficult. To be treated this way during such a hard time was awful. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They do a good job acting like they care. But only care about money, getting as many appointments in as they can in a day. There are better places to go. They have lost my business!!!"
"Absolutely exceptional. We were seen about 30 minutes after our appointment time but it did not bother me one bit because of the level of care they provided. I could tell that all of the staff truly cared about my dogs and they took their time getting to know them/me as well as answered all of my questions. I know how busy vet offices can be but I never felt rushed during our time there. Highly recommend care animal center!! They loved on my little dog and complimented both of their training and took all the slobbery kisses from my big dog. By far the best vet clinic I have been to!"
