Reviews
"Westside Aquatic Center hosts us weekly during open swim. The lifeguards are all very helpful, and the water is the perfect temp all year round."
"I don't normally leave a lot of reviews but when I went to look up info on the facility I really didn't see any answers so I thought I would leave this review. I have been to a lot of these large pools and sometimes the odors can be awful. I noticed back in 2022 this pool had those same reviews. I was there in 12/2023 and did not have that problem at all. No strong odors and no complaints from my swimmer about the water. I've also been to a lot of these pools that it's so hot you can't breath up in the stands and this pool wasn't as bad as others I've been to but there is def temperature problems with this facility. It was Dec when I was there and in the mid 50's during the day and 30/40's at night. I was able to wear shorts for both days with a long sleeve shirt and was very comfortable in the upper seats. I would have been hot in jeans. The other reviews I read about this facility is the poor bathroom conditions and they weren't joking about that. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and the bathrooms were already trashed with no soap in the dispensers. The soap was not filled until later Saturday afternoon so keep that in mind. The only other thing I thought I would point out is the lack of concessions from this facility. They don't have or offer concessions which is fine if you plan ahead. We flew in from out of town so didn't have coolers or an easy way to bring food. I never saw one vending machine but on the 2nd day I did see a kid set up with a table and a cooler offering cans of soda water & some candy bars. Why in the world this facility wouldn't offer some type of concessions to all those people is beyond me. I joked next year I would buy a cooler and tons of bottle water and set up outside the front door and make a killing. They could buy pizza's and have them delivered and make a killing. They just really missed the boat on food & drinks. Hopefully this helps someone else plan for their trip."
"Great venue for high school sports."
"Very nice facility. Huge and modern. Lots of room in the stands also."
"Visited so many pools but never been in the building that your eyes start burning as soon as you enter. I seen so many kids crying and coughing. I don't understand that they can't get chlorine and air quality in order, total disregard for kids health. This place shouldn't be hosting big competitions until they get theirs stuff in order"
