Cellaxs Phone Repair

"I went here to get my phone repaired on June 10th. They told me it would be a few days, never received a word back. Left town for nearly two weeks, no call, nothing. Went to investigate last weekend and the place was shuttered. This weekend, they are open. The person running the place tells me they have changed ownership, and wants me to take it to the old owners, and to call them. My phone is broken!! So she calls them and after a long wait, they have me give her phone back to talk to her and she tells me to take it to the Woodfield location in the middle of the day on a weekday without asking me if that was possible, it was not, and then she just kind of stammered, not knowing what to do. The thing to do is to act on behalf of the customer to get their money! Maybe ask me if this is possible before making the arrangement and hanging up the phone. Meanwhile I'm watching another customer complaining because the guy "fixing" the phones damaged her phone. Kept talking about how busy she was, well yes, people want their phones fixed and you decided to offer that service. At this point, I walked away, never to return. I will be telling all of my friends: do NOT waste your money here, it seems to have gone from bad to worse."

"THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE DO NOT GO!!!!!!! I took my brand new iPhone 13 here to get a screen replaced, got the phone back and it was over heating and burnt my hand, the battery also drained in ten minutes. Went back to them and they said they would fix it. Left me without a phone for THREE MONTHS and finally gave me a loner to use. They ended up destroying the phone and frying the mother board to the point where there was no way to fix it. They gave me a new phone after months of going back and forth and when we tried to step it up, the carrier let us know that this phone was STOLEN. I now am down a brand new phone and they are not cooperating at all. If you want to leave with a destroyed phone and no where to go this is a great place for you!!!!! TAKE THIS AS A WARNING AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS !!!!!!!!!"

"I was happy with Cellaxs at first, because they offer good prices. My phone screen cracked less than a week later (with a screen protector on it that I bought with the repair), and they claimed it wasn’t under warranty. I showed them the original receipt, but they still charged me almost $100 to repair it again. Do yourself a favor and skip this place."

"I had a bad experience with getting a phone screen protector installed. Within one week the tempered glass protector started peeling from the corners. I brought it in and their only reply was to sell me the same work for a reduced price. I had paid for the second time and once again, within 3 days it came off. After bringing it to them for the third time I got another branded screen protector installed, this time for free…lasted one month. Great place, if you want to throw away $25!"
