"The tech seemed nice but within about 10 seconds told me my microwave wasn't worth fixing because it'd cost more to fix it than buy a new one (talking a $600 microwave). But he still had to charge me $95 for the visit. They did warn me on the phone but that just seems so expensive. The tech knew exactly where to look for a spot in the microwave to show this issue and didn't even take anything apart. I could have sent a photo of the inside of the microwave and he could have done the same thing without coming here. Definitely feels like I got ripped off."

"Magic appliance came highly recommended and although they have some horrible reviews, I decided to look past that and still let them come out. BIG MISTAKE. I have an old washer dryer. The technician came out, charged $95 which we agreed too, and didn’t even look at the dryer. He just said it will be $400 to fix. My husband asked him How he justified the $400 and he got very cocky. He told us what part to buy and said the part was $60, we ordered it on Amazon for $18. Turns out the only problem was the drum needed be be realigned and it was fixed in 20 minutes. It is ridiculous the man charged $95 for a service call where he did not even look at the dryer. I hate to leave a bad review as people need to make a living, BUT DO NOT USE THEM."
