"I scheduled a virtual meeting on February 19th and uploaded all of my documents just for no one from the office to contact me. Anytime I call I do not get an answer, or I am being directed to another office. Due to the lack of communication with the twin oaks location I know longer feel comfortable filing with HRblock."

"First i have to say i never give reviews unless they are good. So for me to do this, there must be an Issue. The lady that helped me was very helpful and kind. What i didn’t agree with was her waiting until the very end to tell me it’s going to be over $400 to file taxes for me and one dependent. I had the same job all year so it’s not like it was difficult. She maybe spent 45 minutes with me total. If i would’ve known i would be spending that much i would’ve taken my business elsewhere. Very misleading. Also at the very end she offered me a ‘peace of mind’ which of course was an additional $40. She stated ‘if i mess up on your taxes or the IRS audits you we will take care of it’ uh what? I’m going to you to get my taxes done so i don’t have this issue of messing them up. I do get the auditing part but I’m putting my trust into the company that they won’t mess up. Make it make sense. Zero stars, will not be going back"

"I went to an H&R Block for the first time since my taxes were going to be more complicated this year. I had to come back for two appointments because they were not sure how to complete some of my taxes from out of state (which was why I went there to begin with). As it turns out I could have done just as well doing them myself on Turbo Tax since they were not exactly more knowledgeable then myself. I have now received a letter saying that some of my forms were not received. This office is not open year round so I have had to make another appointment with a different office and was told I may have to pay more for the issue to corrected. Neglecting to send the correct paper work out and then having to pay for an additional appointment for the issue to be resolved is absolutely ridiculous. I am beyond frustrated and will not be using H&R Block again."
