"Purchased an AC and Furnace from Ray's for my parents home because they touted their warranty on April of 2021. Today November of 2023, the furnace would not heat, so we called for service. Under the impression that the warranty should cover all labor for 5 years, and parts for 10, we thought this should be covered. Instead, they arrived (charged 78 dollars to drive to our home) then charged my parents156 dollars to diagnose the issue, then charged them 82.80 to clean and test the flame sensor. So they were charged 316.80 for a unit that is fully covered under warranty, less than two years old. I would avoid doing business with this company as there are hundreds of HVAC companies that stand behind their products. This was my mistake for choosing Ray's for my parents HVAC needs. The company I chose for my own home doesn't charge me a penny to do service on my unit as that's what the warranty was for. If it inoperative, they take care of it as it should be. Ray's does not have that level of service."
