"I called to get an estimate for a new furnace. They came out and gave 3 different options and explained clearly what each was, and the pros and any cons for each. Their communication is excellent from the phone call in to schedule the estimate, to the install and follow through. Any time I called with a question, I got a call back quickly if the call wasn't answered right then, and a follow through call a couple weeks after the job was finished to check in and make sure I was happy and everything went smooth. I couldn't be more impressed with the company and will not hesitate to recommend them in the future to anyone in need of their services."
"I was able to get a same day appointment for modifications to a natural gas line. The technician, Luke, was on time, professional, and discussed the work to be done in great detail. Overall, high quality work at a fair price. I would definitely recommend."
"I have used Berry Heating for many years and they have always done an excellent job and are always punctual for a reasonable price. I just had them install a tankless water heater. The workmanship and thoughtfulness in the layout and construction was exceptional."
"Luke was my technician and he was awesome, very professional, knowledgeable and respectful of my home. He answered all my questions and explained everything to me. The reason for my low rating I was told over the phone my new water heater would cost me $2000 but when it came time to pay they told Luke to charge me $2500! I was floored could not believe they changed the price on me without notifying me. Their technicians do very good work but I will not do business with them again because they do not stand behind what they say."
"Beery H&C installed the system years ago. No problem there. Mom and Dad starting using a different local comany to clean A/C and Furnace yearly to save money. Dad passed in Jan 2015. Starting in 2013 we started having to replace the Enducer Motors and the tune of 400.00 and more every 15 months or so. We got fed up with the local company who had no problem charging Mom 485 per Enducer Motor with no real fix. BTW I ended up paying 120.00 on internet.... We called Beery and spoke to Mr John Beery himself as well as a vist from him to the home to explain we CANNOT continue replacing Enducer Motors every 15 months at X amount of dollars. He of course agreed! The Tech "JOE" who was at our house also agreed and said it was weird. Please Note? "The square hole with 3 round holes is the attachement point of the Enducer Motor." Joe came out on 12/13/2016 becasue of a noise and took the Enducer off and surely saw the dust or soot. So he took off the Enducer Motor and ReInstalled with with some High Temp caulk. Did not fix. Keep in mind myself and Mom told Joe this will be the 3rd motor. So Joe came back out on 12/24/2016 and you guest it replaced the Enducer Motor. 497.00! More than any other company had charged prior. Keep in Mind by now Joe has had to see the soot no less than 2 times. And John Beery is involved now knowing darn well we are adamant and persistant about wanting to know why so many Enducer Motors. They said it must be the manufacturer..... So right on track 14-15 months later the noise came back. After 3 visits from this company we decided to let my nephew who is 26 and just graduated from HVAC school number 1 in his class of 65 through an Air Force program take a look at it. And as you can see we found the problem!!!!!!! I emailed John Beery all the photos and he said that the dirty soot/dust was from not getting it cleaned. I replied your guy saw the dust/soot on 2 occasions and never said that would fix it. He would not take responsibility. He was actually quite arrogant in my opinion. I said at least just send us the part. Please Mom is on a very tight budget and she spent more than any other company we contacted to have you come and fix the problem and tell us why it kept breaking. He did not care... Keep in mind and time of typing this I just located 2 more invoices where Beery was out on 2/20/17 for 152.00 and again on 2/24/17 for 400.00..... So this was 4 times in 14 months these folks had the Unit open. Never ever ever to tell us about the soot /dust that was right there in front of theri face........ The dust was in the pipes that was pitched back towards the beering on the Enducer Motor. Shame on you people...... updated September 21st 2018... Your guys response is with all due respect comical to say the least. You were hired to not only replace the inducer which you very much did so for an exorbitant cost you were also told in person John as well as well as both your technicians that we would like this to stop replacing inducer Motors at $485 a pop. York Tech as well as you said let's see how this inducer motor fares. And when it went bad we found out that the pipe was clogged with debris that was leaking back down onto the inducer. Hence the photos! My nephew coincidentally a new technician at that time fresh out of school figured out the problem to where you guys did not! We hired you not only to replace the inducer motor we also hired you to figure out why it kept happening. That part is very important. I'm not sure if you guys lacked the initiative or the technical Savvy I will leave that for the reviewers. As far as mom's phone number with a credit score of 852 she tends to get inundated with sales calls. So she did change her number you are correct. Thank you for pointing that out for us"
