Texas Department of Family
About the Business
The Texas Department of Family is a local government office located at 3401 North A Street, Midland, Texas, United States. They provide services and support for families, children, and older Texans in need. The institution offers an Annual Plan, with the FY24 plan currently available. CommunityBasedCare.org helps to keep foster care in local Texas communities. Volunteers are welcome to help make a difference in the lives of kids, families, and older Texans. Whether you are a parent, foster child, or service provider, the Texas Department of Family is here to help. Support children in care by contributing to your local Rainbow Room. It is important to protect teens from counterfeit fentanyl, as even small amounts can be deadly. Consider adopting an older child, as children never outgrow the need for parents. The Texas Youth Helpline (1-800-989-6884) is available for those in need of support. Adult abuse, neglect, and exploitation are everyone's responsibility to address. Remember to never leave children alone near water, as it only takes a moment for a child to drown. Life can be tough, but the Texas Department of Family is here to help.

"I am a father who received primary custody of my children due to drug and alcohol abuse by their mother. I can not speak in specifics, but suffice to say the childrens lives were put in danger. CPS has been 100% biased in the whole situation. They are stuck in archaic thought-patterns about male not being suitable primary caretakers. Despite Court orders giving me managing conservatoire of the children, Midland CPS has harassed me and been discriminate towards me every step of the way. I have no history of Alcohol or drug abuse. CPS testified against me on behalf of the mother, of course there was no neglect on my part to testify too. And because of their weak testimony, the judge still ruled (Thank Jesus) in my children's favor and placed them with me. CPS has been a weekly presence in my children and my life since. The mother moved away from her children to San Angelo, and despite having them every other weekend with a mountains of evidence proving her alcohol abuse they have not checked on them once their when she has possession of my beautiful babies. The agent who wrongly testified against me is still the case worker (Conflict of interest?!?!?!). Still have have cooperated 100% with every request and demand, because I have no problems proving I am a good father. Any time I question the case worker on the neglectful job she is doing in our case, she responds with "Go take a drug test today.". She is using every tool at her disposal as a weapon, despite being in my house, and demanding to speak with my daughter privately behind closed doors every week. My daughter is 10 years old with Asperger Syndrome. When I request information from her it has been up to 3 weeks before I get the information I am requesting. I recently questioned her and told her my concerns very clearly and concisely about the job she is doing on my case, and how she is being discriminate and biased. Her response: "Go take a drug test.". Which I have gladly and proudly done every time. I have nothing to hide. I will be filing on this case worker once I am out of the woods with these people. I suggest to anyone dealing with them , every conversation should be through text (In writing) or via audio recorded conversation. Be careful with these people. They are not in it for the best interest of your children, but to fulfill their own self delusions of heroism to children that would be better off with family support systems , than with state and government interventions in their lives."
