"Careful if you stay there and try to order food or favor, the address online is inaccurate. So you order and pay for food but never get it!! If get delivered to the address listed which is NOT the condo/boogie Bay units. So sad!!"
"I was definitely skeptical about this place after reading reviews. We were 2 couples and staying for Wurstfest. We had a great time and thought the condo was perfect for our needs. Yes the place needs an update but I appreciate not having to pay $$$$$ for a decent place to stay. We all thought the place was extremely clean. Plenty of hot water with comfortable beds. We didn’t do any cooking but they did have a small coffee pot and a wine opener so what else could you ask for right?! Plus the shuttle to the festival was included in the price and was extremely convenient. The main resort had breakfast included but we had to get our fill of breakfast tacos so we didn’t try theirs. For Wurstfest this was a great option and highly recommend. I can’t imagine this to be a bad option in the summer. I don’t need luxurious accommodations to bring kids. They don’t care at all but my wallet is appreciative. The lack of a star for me is because parking spots are not assigned and we had issues with other guests one night. We only had one vehicle and other guests seemed to have several cars making us park out of the way."
"We are on our way home from having lots of summer fun at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels! However, do yourself a favor and NEVER stay at the Boogie Bay Condos. The accommodations are shockingly terrible considering the fact that you pay $550 per night (plus the cost of tickets/season passes) with no extra perk of early access to the park like they used to offer for patrons who stayed on property. The unit we stayed in smelled like mold, had holes in the walls, floors popping up, a dryer that doesn’t work, doors that are falling apart, vents that are falling out, rusted and/or have mold growing around them, beds that were broken, and door knobs about to fall off. The air conditioning was basically non existent upstairs where all the bedrooms were. Additionally, the “full kitchen” did not include any cooking utensils (such as spatulas), no dish towels or a kitchen sponge, no skillet or pan to cook simple meals such as scrambled eggs, no cookie sheet, no oven mitts, and had two plastic cups for a place that sleeps 6-12. Extremely disappointed in the maintenance of this rental property."
"Enjoy going to New braunfels with our large family, but these condos are disappointing for the amount of money my parents spent to rent them. When we walked in water was spilt so my mom wiped it up and the napkin was black. Had a stack of laundry I washed so the washer and dryer was nice until 2 cycles in the drier later they were still wet and I realized it wasn’t producing heat so took them across the way to my sisters cabin to dry and her drier didn’t work either. Told the staff and pretty sure they didn’t even make note of it to have it fixed. Got towels at the office to replace the ones I attempted to wash and great service that day. 2 days later went to the main office to exchange towels and the manager on duty said he didn’t have the supplies to trade towels and to go back and call housekeeping. I did that and 30 min later I was still holding. Called the main office and he was the one that answered. He then tells me that they open at 9am in housekeeping (ok; could of told me that earlier). The vent in bathroom upstairs put out heat when you turned it on and the molding around it was brown where it looked like it could catch fire any day. Front door patched up where it appears someone kicked it in at some point, so it easily could be broke. By another person kicking the already unsound frame. Park no longer opens early for resort guest so you have no perks to stay in the park other than going back to your room for lunch/snacks. They do not reinforce the cars w/o parking tags being towed at owners expense b/c that Saturday we counted 5 cars parked there w/o tags and when I called security they said they couldn’t do anything. Reported it to the main office where she sounded sincere s that they’d have security call for towing and finally after the park closed the cars were moved by the owners (one gorl we heard even comment “whew my car is still there). I will say movie night is fun and the new s’more fire pit is super cute, but that wasn’t worth the $7,500 my parents spent for a 5 night 2 condo stay. Do yourself a favor and get a hotel near by and just drive to the park with a picnic. Get there early though b/c cars started parking 2 hours early to go to the park."
"Great for people who want to be close to the East side of the park. Parts of the condo are renovated and parts are not. Overall the accomodations are good. I would stay here again."
