"We had a great stay at Gruene Cottages. They are attentive and want to make sure everything is ok. As you can imagine they are close to Gruene and downtown New Braunfels. The rooms are nice and the bed is very comfortable."

"My husband and I stayed in the Fachwerk cottage over the weekend and we absolutely loved the rustic ambiance. It was the perfect size for the two of us, and it was very clean & cozy. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The cottages are located just minutes away from Gruene. We really enjoyed our stay and we’ll definitely be back!"

"A great place, very private. Our room was on the second floor with an awning so we left the door open while it was raining, had a drink and diner before walking to Gruene Hall to see Lyle Lovett. In the morning I opened the door again and look down to see several deer walking down the driveway. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, had a microwave, fridge, cork screw and glasses. Everything we needed. Perfect lil get away! Thanks!"

"We had a retreat/conference here and the meeting space was ideal! We actually used it the night before, for some games and adult beverages, and then did our strategic planning all day the next day. The rooms were awesome and I love the place and the service. My only Negative, is it’s not walking distance to Gruene. Other than that, it really is an ideal place to stay either for business or pleasure! We will definitely be back."

"My daughters and I had a wonderful time, large room, asked for extra towels and a blanket, and they were on our doorstep quickly. Love the location because it’s so close to Gruene Hall, and all the little shops and restaurants. Very quiet, pool was great, grounds were well kept. Only thing that I wished was different in our room was that the toilet was in a small room by itself. I would definitely rent again at this location!"
