"I have been a Petsmart/Petco grooming customer for 3.5 years now. I was frustrated because my beagle used to be fine with getting his nails done but about a year ago (after we moved states) he had an appointment at Petco and the lady said he bit her multiple times (didn't break skin). I will never know what happened to change him but since then groomers have had issues cutting his nails. I would pay for baths and when I got my pup back, he wouldn't smell good, I would say he smelled worse after then when I brought him in. He just didn't smell great, and his fur wasn't soft or fluffy. I was feeling that the baths I did at home were WAY better than going to Petco or Petsmart by far! This was our first time at Firehouse. It was great! I called Monday, they got me in on Thursday, same week. She was polite and informative. I explained everything about my pup and his past issues with getting his nails done. I was worried that once again a groomer would not cut his nails. I arrived, he looked so clean and his white areas were WHITE! he felt soooo soft and smelled amazing. They were able to trim his nails with distractions for him and everything seemed to go well. I always know when a groomer has done a proper bath on my beagle when I can see that his tail his fluffy. Usually groomers will only have the bottom half fluffy or just the tip. You can't tell from the picture (cause he didn't want to stay still) but they truly got the WHOLE tail fluffy and clean. We are impressed and will be return customers for sure! Of course, the handkerchief was just the icing on the cake!"
