"I did not see a technician today. Please advise when someone will be here. I spoke to Matthew this morning and thought he was on his way. I advised I switched plugs microwave worked. But there was a burning smell. He said to unplug the microwave and he would be out. 3/1. Technician actually showed today. But I do not know how I'm to get the replacement microwave. Do I get the money and I order? Does he bring a microwave out? Do I get to select the microwave? Who installs it? Additionally, this is the second time a work order has been signed supposedly by me and I have never signed a work order! I'm am beyond frustrated that approx 3 weeks ago this process started and I still don't have the problem resolved"
"I have renewed my Sears Home Protection warranty numerous times over the last 20 years, the most recently being $2200 for 3 years. My recent malfunction of my Lennox furnace for the last 2 + months and dismal response from Sears technicians leaves me in a home with an inside temperature of 55 degrees and no way to turn off the blower. Blake has been scheduled here 4 times to fix the furnace and it has not worked within 12 hours of his service call. I asked him if he had HVAC certification and he said he usually works on refrigerators. I am cold, live alone and this weekend Jan 19-21, 2024 facing sub zero outdoor temperatures and wind chills in the minus teens. My Sears Home maintenance policy seems worthless. What a shame for such a wond former company. I am at a loss of what to do to get my furnace replaced.. My current case number is 7755592."
"Technician contacted us early within the given ‘8am - 5pm service window’ and said he was on his way. Also told us to flip the breaker in our electric box to the dishwasher so it could be ready to work on when he got there. However, after waiting at home all day and having to cancel plans to remain at home THINKING service was going to happen, the technician never showed up. He also went silent and stopped responding when we tried to contact him on the cell number he originally reached out to us on. Nothing was ever done from your end of things and we are no closer to a solution after putting confidence in your services! Will hopefully find someone else that is more reliable this time around when seeking service! Would not recommend."
"Worst service tech ever. Clearly insane. Doesn’t know his job. Doesn’t know anything about how to cook, bake, or use an oven. Wouldn’t listen. Accuses me of harassment. Told lies to AHS. Wouldn’t diagnose the problem. Kept repeating that the oven worked properly. Tried to demonstrate the issue but he wouldn’t listen. Worst experience I’ve ever had with anyone anywhere under any circumstances."
"Update: Received replacement part in the mail for tech who was supposed to show up today. Once again I took off work and stayed home. Eventually I received notice the tech had arrived at my house; however the tech was nowhere to be seen. I then received a survey request for me to rate my techs service. Interesting since the tech never arrived at my house. I’m now scheduled another week out to have my dishwasher repaired. I don’t have high hopes. Original post: We have an appliance warranty program that we bought with our dishwasher and they sent out Sears Appliance Repair. We were getting an LC code and the dishwasher would not cycle. They kept us informed as to when they are going to be there throughout the day which was great. When the technician did arrive, he looked at the location of the dishwasher, took a picture of the serial number and was like there is nothing that I can do to help. This is a drain problem. He never had me turn the power back on, never examined anything on the appliance itself and talked to me about how this is not an appliance problem but it is a drain problem. Technician was very nice but didn't look at anything on the appliance and left and now I am still in the same boat. Reading LC error codes online, it could be a multitude of things...and by the way, our drain is not blocked. So back to square one."
