"My son has really enjoyed the live lessons and how interactive they are! Part of last year he was in an online public school where he was one of 60 students in a classroom, my husband was hesitant when I said that I wanted to put him in a school that had live classes but these are interactive! At the public school my son would get put in a breakout room and have no idea what he was supposed to do. He enjoys the recorded videos as well and we do too- the pre-recorded videos feel very personalized and meaningful! We had him at another private online school before this and he would just click through the work and read it without any teacher interaction! We are truly amazed that we have found Pathways for this year! I am not one to give out compliments but this has been amazing and so supportive!!! "Pathway Christian Prep Academy has been such a blessing the past two years. With the uncertainty of in person school I decided to give the online Academy a try. It was the best decision I made! My daughter who was in 6th grade found a community that she could engage with. The teachers were always so helpful, patient and happy! "I highly recommend Pathway!!! My son was already going to a private Christian school and Covid forced us to getting introduced to this school and it has been the best thing ever. Since being at this school, I have seen my son grow into a leader. His confidence in himself and being able to say what he feels without worrying about anyone has to say has definitely been a joy for me to see and I give credit to the environment Pathway has for the kids. They make the kids feel special and valuable. They make the kids feel that their opinions matter. Also as a parent who works from home, this online option makes things convenient without my son missing out when it comes to his socializing and education. My son was already one of the top kids in his previous school and Pathways has continued to keep him advanced in his studies, as well as, grown him to be more independent and confident in what he is doing. Late thing I will say is that our teachers have been very hands on and communicate very well with us parents. Anytime I have had to contact a teacher about something, I always get a response back quickly and they work with me to make sure things are good for my son and I. And we get weekly email going over what our kids will be focusing on during the week and grades and assignments are right there when you sign into your learning site so you can see how your kid is doing and if they are struggling with anything, that way you can ask your teacher for extra help or one-on-one tutoring."
