"Please DO NOT SEND YOUR FUR BABIES TO BARK AND STAY. They stated my dog climbed out from the fences and went missing for 23 days in the cornfields on January 15, 2023. It was so cold and he almost died from it. My dog was the 4th dog got out from there. Please please protect your fur babies and do not send them there. It is not a safe facility. I don’t want anyone has to go through this again."

"So, I called last minute the day before thanksgiving. I’d called a bunch of places with no luck, however, they had a spot. After my dogs stay there I find that surprising. I was greeted out front when I arrived (despite the cold) and brought in to a comfortable and well decorated reception. The receptionist and workers were all very friendly and took Maverick into the back no problem. The paperwork was simple and straight forward. When I returned Maverick was in fantastic shape, groomed, nails clipped, and smelling good. When we got home, he went straight to the basement and fell asleep- let me say, Maverick is a 2 year old Alaskan Malamute. It takes some real work to tire him out like that, so whatever they did clearly worked and I was incredibly impressed. It’s really no surprise though, they have a very large play area with a pond, I imagine it’s incredibly well suited to dogs of all shapes and sizes, be it northern breeds, water dogs or even smaller breeds. Just really top shelf stuff. Pickup was nice and easy, no surprises on pricing or fees or anything of the sort that wasn’t disclosed when he was dropped off, which of course is always a good thing. Overall this is a great place to board your dog. Probably among the best in the entire quad cities area, and better then almost all I’ve used in Des Moines. With that I wholeheartedly recommend Bark and stay as a place to keep your pet."

"Have been bringing our dogs here for 5 years and referred so many friends. The staff cares about our dogs our dogs love seeing the staff, daily photo updates on Facebook ( am off fb and wish they would add Instagram, but through my husbands fb I still see my babies). Great communications and very happy dogs who love to vacation there. Used the grooming service a few times, but prefer to use another in town with more understanding for our 2 rather huge hairy beasts. Overall 5 stars. Thanks guys! "Friendly staff, they post pics daily of the dogs outside, so you can see what your pet is doing. Reasonable rates. Big and little dogs have separate play yards, and dogs can play together during daycare. They are a little bit of a drive but we'll worth having a good place take care of my dog. Owners live on the premises, that is an important factor."
