"RUN! This is absolutely the worst CPA! Unfiled taxes, penalties and interest charges from the IRS. If you question or complain, met with hostility and made up invoices. Read all recent reviews. If could leave zero stars would."
"BUSINESSES BEWARE! If things don't workout they itemize charges and will try and justify charging you $810/hr for phone calls because 2 accountants were on an introductory setup call and they charge $405/hr each. I have ran multiple successful dental practices for over 20 years and know how to treat people when you decide to go your separate ways. I did not want to write this review, but when things don't workout people/businesses show their true colors. I feel like I gave DRDA every chance to "step-up" but they never did. DRDA made many promises but had poor execution, communication, and seemed very disorganized. I was using DRDA to help me with setting up an MSO C-corp, based on their suggestion. I obviously don't know anything about setting up or running a C-corp, but I was told that they would set everything up and show me what needed to be done. Well, after the initial setup paperwork, I sent DRDA all requested documentation...then waited. I wrote emails asking if there was anything else I needed to be doing, which they responded "let's setup a meeting" (zoom). We would get on the zoom meetings and it would almost be like a repeat of our initial meetings and I would get assigned an accountant (never happened) and what the next steps were (MFA etc). I filled out the MFA, then waited...Sent an email asking what was the next step or if there was something I needed to do. They would say "let's setup a meeting." Next zoom meeting, I was told almost an exact repeat of the previous meeting except, "we need to adjust your MFA" (I was never given any real initial suggestion or assistance in filling out the MFA). So I agreed, then waited....I again wrote an email asking what was the next step, and again got responses of "lets setup a meeting", etc. There is a pattern here folks. Sometimes my email responses to meeting times went unnoticed and they would send me another email asking about the same meeting time again, a week later. Anyway, long story short: After quoting me MSO setup fees with 5 phases (each phase averaging $500-2000 in cost for a total estimate of $5000, which I prepaid), we never make it past phase 1. After months of trying to get things done, I felt like my business was either too small or not important enough for DRDA, and politely told them that I was going to change accounting firms. At first, DRDA did not offer any refund, when I requested one, they said they would look into it. After a few weeks, I received a letter with a nickel-and-dime breakdown of hourly charges with check for a little over $1000. Now, I was not expecting a full refund, but phase 1 quote was $2000 IF we finished everything...but we didn't even get close. Every setup and "meet and greet" phone call was charge out like I was asking for legal advice about a court case from a lawyer at between $405-810/hr!!! When I asked Violet (their client "RELATIONSHIP manager) about the contract and my refund, I was told that because I wanted to end the relationship she was "left with only one option" to bill all services hourly. Because, she stated, that my decision "has left a financial impact on both you and DRDA." That's great and all, but what about all of MY TIME DRDA wasted that is not being reimbursed to me! I don't believe Violet or DRDA values or considers their client's time as well. This company may have been good once upon a time based on reviews from 3+ years ago, but filter your reviews by recent reviews and you will get the true story of how they are now. In business, sometimes things don't go right. In my dental practices, I have never withheld money from people who were unsatisfied with their service. It's more important how you treat people when things don't workout. I will definitely let EVERYONE know in my dental circles, peer groups, CE courses, and business mastermind groups about my experience with DRDA so that other people don't make the same COSTLY mistake."
"The only reason I gave one star is because I could not give zero. This company does not honor their commitments. They did not take care of our books properly. We tried to work with them for over 2 years on taxes and bookkeeping. They have made a mess of our books and have left out taxes incomplete. I would not trust them with any bookkeeping or accounting needs."
"Was assigned to the worst accountant (Don) who they fired and was sold a bill of goods on a doing a BORSA 401K. DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM FOR ANYTHING. Signed a contract for services, that was never done, and they charged my credit card 3 additional months after the contract was complete. Never refunded. They recommended other companies to help that are over priced and just as bad as them. They were late on filing my tax returns after repeated emails that I didn't want to file an extension. Was promised in many emails from Violet that I would get a refund only to see nothing. Please do your research. DON'T LET THEM TALK YOU INTO A BORSA UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE GETTING INTO. They try and make it sound like you have to use them and who they recommend to stay compliant. I'm having to sue them. Don't end up like me."
"DRDA has been taking care of some of my IRS filings over the previous 4 years and I have found them to be very diligent in the work they have done. They are timely and they provide excellent service so the filings are accurate and they are accepted by the IRS."
